We are currently recruiting:

Front Office Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Operations:

Manage the day-to-day operations of the front desk, including reservation management, room assignments, and data entry.

Guest Service:

Oversee guest check-ins and check-outs, address guest inquiries and complaints, and ensure a smooth and positive guest experience.

Coordination:

Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and reservations, to ensure smooth operations.

Staff Management:

Recruit, hire, and train front office staff, providing ongoing coaching and feedback.

Supervision and Training:

Manage, train, and supervise front desk staff, including front desk agents and bell-driver staff.

Revenue Management:

Contribute to revenue optimization by understanding occupancy trends, managing room allocations, and implementing strategies to increase revenue.

Reporting:

Prepare daily reports and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.

Required Skill Sets

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Hotel Systems:

Knowledge of property management systems (PMS) is essential for managing reservations, guest information, and other operational aspects.

Computer Skills:

Good computer literacy and the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are also important for report generation, communication, and administrative tasks.

Data Entry:

Accurate data entry is crucial for maintaining accurate guest records and financial information.

Financial Literacy:

Understanding basic financial concepts, budgeting, and bookkeeping is important for managing front office finances.

Soft Skills:

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication are vital for interacting with guests, staff, and other departments.

Interpersonal Skills:

The ability to build rapport, listen actively, and empathize with guests is key to providing excellent customer service.

Leadership Skills:

Front office managers need to be able to lead and motivate their team, delegate tasks effectively, and create a positive work environment.

Problem-Solving Skills:

They need to be able to quickly assess and resolve guest complaints and other issues efficiently.

Organizational Skills:

Effective organization and time management are essential for managing multiple tasks and ensuring smooth operations.

Customer Service Skills:

Front office managers must be able to handle guest inquiries, address complaints, and provide a positive guest experience.
