O’Laya Uluwatu is a member of the prestigious Akmani Hotels Group, renowned for its exceptional hospitality and unique guest experiences.

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Preopening Team as a:

  1. Cluster Director of Rooms

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Rooms Division department across the cluster of hotels.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize room performance and efficiency.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by maintaining high-quality room standards and resolving escalated guest concerns.
  • Analyze guest feedback and implement improvements to exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
  • Monitor employee and team performance, offering coaching, training, and feedback for improvement.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guests and inquiries.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of special events and promotions.
  • Maintain strong relationships with guests and travel partners.
  • Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years in hotel operations, with at least 3 years in a cluster or multi-property management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, with strong English proficiency.
  • Proven track record of success in leading and managing a team of professionals in areas such as Front Office and Housekeeping.
  • Experience managing multiple departments and leading large teams.
  • Background in handling guest relations and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance.
  • Experience in ensuring high-quality guest experience and addressing complaints.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and confident with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A creative and innovative mindset with a passion for the hospitality industry.
  • Able to Joint immediately.
