Job Summary -Front Office Manager
As the Front Office Manager, you will lead our Front Office team in creating a welcoming, efficient, and exceptional experience for each guest. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that all guest services align with Yama’s high standards and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Manage, train, and motivate Front Office staff, fostering a positive and cohesive team environment that upholds Yama’s values of kindness, respect, and joy.
- Guest Services Oversight: Ensure smooth guest check-ins and check-outs, address special requests, and resolve any guest challenges with prompt and personalized service to elevate the guest experience.
- Problem Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for escalated guest concerns, using creative solutions to ensure a memorable stay for each guest.
- Sales and Information: Oversee guest inquiries, manage incoming bookings, and coordinate with the marketing team to maximize occupancy and revenue opportunities.
- Operations Management: Coordinate with other departments to streamline communication, manage reservation flows, verify payment processes, and ensure accurate booking details.
- Administrative Duties: Oversee audits, reporting, and administrative functions to maintain efficient, organized front office operations.
Prerequisites
- Diploma degree with a minimum of two-year proven experience preferably in a leadership role within the hospitality industry.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage, motivate, and train a team while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Guest Service Orientation: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for clear, effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Organizational Abilities: Strong attention to detail, with skills in managing bookings, coordinating with other departments, and overseeing administrative tasks.
- Sales and Revenue Insight: Understanding of basic sales strategies to optimize bookings and enhance revenue.
- Able to access and accurately input information using Microsoft Excel and the booking system.
