We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated professional to fill the position below:
- JUNIOR SOUS CHEF
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in menu development and ensure consistency in flavors, presentation, and portioning.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and timely service.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff, maintaining a high-performance team environment.
- Manage inventory, stock rotation, and waste control to optimize costs.
- Implement advanced cooking techniques and ensure high culinary standards.
- Maintain strict food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and contribute to menu innovation.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the same role at a renowned upscale restaurant.
- A keen eye for culinary trends and a willingness to innovate with new techniques and presentations.
- Hands-on leadership style, inspiring the team with professionalism and attention to detail.
- Advanced cooking techniques and fine dining expertise are highly desirable.
- A good grasp of pastry and desserts will be an advantage.
- Must be adaptable, motivated, and eager to refine their craft.
- Open to relocating or commuting to Uluwatu.
