Job Summary – Marketing and Social Media
Scope of Work
NEWSLETTER:
- Monthly Content Planning: Hold a monthly meeting with Creative and marketing Director to discuss content, needs, and timing. (A template is available for this.)
- Content Preparation: Compile and prepare images and texts using tools like ChatGPT, Google Docs, Drive, and Photoshop.
- Blog Post Management: Insert 1-2 blog posts per month on the website (WordPress) and review SEO setup (SEO tool available).
- Newsletter Design: Design the newsletter with finalized images and text on Squarespace (template provided).
- Social Media Coordination: Prepare Instagram Stories and one post with information from the newsletter, adding them to the content schedule.
INSTAGRAM:
- Monthly Content Planning: Together with Creative and Marketing Director, plan the next month’s photos and videos.
- Content Creation: Plan content needs and generate ideas for the month.
- Copywriting & Scheduling: Write captions, and plan the content schedule (using Metricool for autoposting).
- Community Engagement: Follow up on comments and follows, engaging actively with potential retreat hosts.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare a monthly report on metrics.
- Content & Collaboration Ideas: Brainstorm content ideas with Creative and Marketing Director, focusing on new videos and collaborations.
- Collaborations Management: Manage collaborations by connecting with niche influencers on the island, setting up agreements, and tracking results.
INSTAGRAM ADS:
- Campaign Planning: Co-create campaign ideas with Creative and marketing Director for advertising.
- Campaign Management: Set up and monitor active campaigns (1-2 per month, maximum; currently none).
