The Green Room Canggu is looking for an IT Specialist. The IT specialist is responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware and software systems, and providing technical support to staff. The role involves troubleshooting issues, managing networks, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and resolving technical problems.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and monitor computer systems and networks, ensuring they are operating efficiently and securely.
  • Network Management: Administer and configure network devices, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure network reliability and security.
  • Software Management: Install, update, and manage software applications, ensuring compatibility and performance.
  • Security: Implement and manage security measures to protect the organization’s data and IT infrastructure from threats and breaches.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT systems, processes, and procedures, and document technical issues and resolutions.
  • Project Management: Participate in IT projects, including the deployment of new systems or technologies, and manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Training: Provide training and support to staff on the use of IT systems and tools.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience: Proven experience in IT support or a similar role, with a strong understanding of computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, experience with network management, and knowledge of IT security practices.
  • Certifications: Relevant IT certifications are a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-oriented approach.

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with standard working hours.
  • May require occasional on-call support or after-hours work.
  • Able to work mobile
