Waiter Requirements:
Responsibilities
- Take orders from customers for food and drinks.
- Ensure orders are passed onto the kitchen staff.
- Prepare and deliver drinks and food to the tables.
- Ring up the clients’ items onto their bills and ensure accurate charges.
- Issue customers with their bills and process payments via card and cash.
- Make recommendations on food choices, and read out specials.
- Ensure tables are stocked with glassware, salt and pepper, and other sauces.
- Assist tables with any requests they have and update them on the status of their order.
- Take note of customer complaints and pass them on to relevant staff.
- Remove used plates and cutlery from tables.
- Take used plates and cutlery to be washed.
- Use waiting equipment such as trays and trolleys.
Requirements
- High school Diploma or above
- Entry level
- Ability to communicate with customers and other staff members
- Physically able to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Willing to work early/late or unsociable hours
- Strong communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good listening skills, with high levels of attention to detail
- Ability to multitask
- Available to join immediately
