SENIOR HEAD BARTENDER
Job Profile:
The dynamic and passionate Senior Head Bartender will oversee the daily operations of three bars, ensuring consistent high standards of beverage service and quality are maintained. He/ she will also uphold the established concepts, service protocols, and revenue goals. The right candidate is an extrovert person who is able to lead and motivate the team, possess the knowledge for beverage, bartending skills, and service excellence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and curate beverages, including innovative cocktails, wines, and spirits, aligned with the concept and guest preferences.
- Manage inventory, cost control, and budgeting for beverage operations to meet financial goals and revenue targets.
- Handle guest interactions with warmth and professionalism, ensuring an exceptional hosting experience.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create paired experiences and special events.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor offerings to continuously enhance our beverage program.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Food & Beverage Service Operations or Hotel Management.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced 5-star hotel/resort environment.
- Proven ability to multitask and exhibit strong organizational skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and financial acumen.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a commitment to achieving sales goals and revenue budgets.
- Charismatic and approachable, with a positive attitude and a genuine passion for hospitality.
- An independent individual who is able to adapt to remote living conditions in a resort in the Maldives.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
