HU’U VILLAS located at PETITENGET, SEMINYEK – Bali, is looking for a motivated, honest and qualified candidate to fill the position of:
CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Requirements:
- Local, age between 30-40 years old.
- Degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or similar.
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standard, regulations & taxation.
- Experience in working with accounting software, such as Jurnal, and databases.
- Minimum 3 years’ proven accounts experience as a Chief Accountant or similar position.
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability to work in a team or individually as and when required.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills in English.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including:
- monthly and end-year process
- accounts payable/receivable
- cash receipts
- general ledger
- payroll and utilities
- treasury, budgeting
- cash forecasting
- revenue and expenditure variance analysis
- capital assets reconciliations
- account statement reconciliations,
- check runs
- fixed asset activity
- Monitorand analyze accounting data and work with external accounts consultant to produce financial reports or statements
- Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Provide recommendations
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transact
