HHRMA Hotel Bali – Sivana Villas Bali

MAINTENANCE – SIVANA VILLAS BALI
Job purpose: To handle necessary repairs of 8 suites.
Will report to: Housekeeping manager and front office.
Time: full time. To start as soon as possible.

Responsablites (in accordance with management standards) 

  • Inspect hotel regularly to ensure it meets safety standards
  • Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies and facilities.
  • Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests
  • Plan and oversee renovations and construction
  • Act fast to resolve emergency issues
  • Find ways to reduce hotel operating costs and conserve energy
  • Maintain budgets, expenses and activity logs
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
  • Check for new maintenance requests from the PMS (Property Management System) and update remarks once the task is completed.
  • Ability to focus attention on details, speed and accuracy.
  • Program TV’s and perform general housekeeping and engineering-related inventory duties.
  • To clean, lubricate, protect, and otherwise maintain all tools and equipment in the hotel.
  • To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality.
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Maintains the hotel facility and related equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of proven experience in a similar role.
  • To be able to work in a neat and efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organised.
  • Ability to multi-task in busy environment.
  • To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect guests and associates, and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, mechanical systems.
  • Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
