We are pleased to offer the position of Comptroller / Director of Finance at Melia Bali.

At Melia Bali, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the hotel, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing strategic, financial guidance to senior management.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Supervising and managing the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  2. Preparing and analysing financial statements and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  3. Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
  4. Managing hotel’s budgeting process, forecasting financial performance, and monitoring actual results against budget.
  5. Managing the hotel’s cash flow forecast and monitoring the actual result against the budget/forecast.
  6. Working closely with senior management to provide strategic financial guidance and support business decisions.
  7. Ensuring compliance with local accounting regulations and company policies.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  1. A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Master degree is preferable.
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management role in the hospitality industry preferable in 5-star hotels with multiple FB outlets.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and experience with financial reporting and analysis.
  5. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  6. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and the ability to provide strategic financial guidance to senior Management.
  7. Experience with financial systems and tools such as Accpac and Oracle.
  8. Good verbal, written and communication skill in English.
