The Sloth Bali, is a complex of 8 loft studios, 2 rustic style suites, a 2 bedrooms private pool villa and a vegan cafe. We are seeking an experienced individual to join our dynamic team.
Position: Barista
Location: Bali The Sloth Canggu Bali
Job Description (Roles & Responsibilities):
- Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes and quality.
- Understand and master all ingredients used on the menu, including their functions and flavor combinations.
- Handle prep work and maintain a clean, neat, and hygienic work area at all times.
- Explain menu items and provide drink recommendations to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and correctly.
- Support smooth daily operations, including taking orders when needed.
- Monitor and report inventory needs.
Requirements (Qualifications):
- Previous barista experience preferred (fresh graduates are welcome if willing to learn).
- Basic coffee knowledge and brewing techniques.
- Good understanding of menu ingredients (coffee, milk, syrups, plant-based milk, etc.).
- Good English communication skills (clear, polite, and confident).
- Friendly, communicative, with a positive service attitude.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team, multitask, and perform under pressure.
- Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Only for candidates currently based in Bali.
- Able to join immediately.
