HHRMA hotel Bali – VIVRE GROUP

The Vivre Group seeks to find a qualified Pastry Bakery Sous Chef to continue leading a team in the production of fine artisan breads and pastries. The candidate will report directly to the Executive Chef and General Manager on a daily basis and manage a team of 4 staff within a centralised kitchen network of 16.

General Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of senior management experience within a bakery of a high quality. eg : Head Pastry / Head baker of Hotel or standalone bakery.
  • Extensive knowledge of bread & pastry making including sourdough, croissants and cakes.
  • Ability to maintain standards while delivering a large volume of high quality products on a daily basis.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands of current climate (pandemic).
  • Computer skills incorporating a cloud based storage/drive system and use of microsoft excel and microsoft word.
  • Able to adhere to and adjust budgets accordingly and use simple food cost tools.
  • Creativity – Ability to create new and exciting ideas for our evolving business model.
