UMAH LUSA, our boutique hillside resort located in Pedawa, Banjar, North Bali will be opening end July and currently searching for a passionate and motivated RESORT MANAGER.

We are seeking a candidate that lives in the area of Banjar, Singaraja or Buleleng, who has previous good experience in boutique hotels in Badung or Ubud area, has returned closer to home and keen to work in a management position for a very special tailor made 6 units boutique resort.

Requirements :

  • Open to local candidates within the area of Banjar, Buleleng, Singaraja.
  • three years of related experience in a similar field.
  • Degree/Diploma Business Administration or relevant discipline.
  • Good hospitality background with in-depth knowledge of the reservations and OTA’s.
  • Excellent command in English both verbal and written.
  • Supervisory and management experience.
  • Exceptional organisational, leadership, and problem solving.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills.
  • Work with the owners to plan for short and long-term goals.
  • Passionate about the area of Pedawa, nature and works well to promote the areas highlights, artisans and community.
  • Available to start ASAP.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the resort, restaurant, spa and bar to maintain a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
  • Ensuring all bookings via all platforms/dealing with OTAs/Offline Travel Agents are well managed.
  • Manages guest curated experiences, tours and ensures all experiences for guest are managed, able to take guests on the tours and share your knowledge of the areas.
  • Ensure f&b experiences at the restaurant, by the fire pit, poolside or in room dining are well executed.
  • Working together with the Owners and Chef for restaurant group bookings, events and guest curated experiences at the resort or off site.
  • Maintaining the standard in the resort, checking in on the team daily and doing any necessary training to improve any key points from guests. Maintain the SOPs for all teams.
  • Weekly reports to the Owners on sales, team performance and general feedback.
  • Working with engineering to maintain the standard in the resort and restaurant.
