Sous Chef

Qualifications:

• Has high commitment to the job.
• Able to adapt to new environment and work in a team or independently
• Experiences in similar function at big organization for a minimum of 1 year.
• Able to lead and motivate the team when the Head of Department is away
• Ensuring the team has high culinary standards.
• Good communication skills, able to problem solve and a heart to serve.
• Highly motivated, energetic, honest, creative and innovative.
• Excellent English in both written and spoken.
• Minimum Diploma or University Graduate.
• Good in operating computer system

• Job Summary for Sous Chef

Accountable for overall success of the daily kitchen operations. Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions. Works to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Supervises all kitchen areas to ensure a consistent, high quality product is produced. Responsible for guiding and developing staff including direct reports. Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved.
