HHRMA Hotel Bali – The Junction House

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, requirements as below:

• Control and direct the food preparation process and any other relative activities
• Construct menus with new or existing culinary creations ensuring the variety and quality of the servings that match our restaurant themes
• Approve, check and “polish” dishes before they reach the customer
• Plan orders of equipment or ingredients according to identified shortages
• Arrange for repairs when necessary
• Remedy any problems or defects
• Be fully in charge of hiring, managing and training kitchen staff
• Oversee and evaluate the work of each subordinates
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards

Requirements:

• Male or Female around 30 years old
• Proven experience as head chef, at least minimum 3-year(s) experience
• Previous, relevant experience as an Executive Chef or a high-performing Sous Chef required
• Exceptional proven ability of kitchen management
• Ability in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Fluent in English
• Credentials in health and safety training
• Degree in Culinary science or related certificate
