Responsibilities
- Establish and manage MICE and grow the Weddings business.
- Actively identify and capture new business opportunities within the Meeting and Events and Wedding sector.
- Work with the Sales & Marketing team to create and execute a tactical sale plan.
- Promote all aspects of events, develop sales channels, strategic initiatives, and excellent relations that result in Corporate and Events functions, and business retreats.
- Drive revenue by fostering relationships with Events planners, individuals, and corporations and to oversee successful planning, managing, and executing of sold events.
- Seek every opportunity, thinking creatively and generating new ideas, to grow the business.
Requirements
- Strong Sales background in securing new business opportunities within the Hospitality sector.
- Acute knowledge of the regional and international MICE market
- Personal portfolio of prospect & suspect Corporate & MICE accounts.
- Minimum 5 years sales experience in luxury industry
- Solid understanding of prospecting programs and event revenue generation
- Ability to take initiative and use innovative concepts.
- Proven ability in communication, and negotiation skills
- High energy and outgoing personality
- Organizational and time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills with customer and associates
- High sense of respect for others.
